YOUTH GYMNASTICS IN WASHINGTON, DC
Welcome to a gymnastics experience that’s anything but ordinary.
Our program blends traditional gymnastics with the wonder of circus arts, all under the twinkle lights of our big top tent. By exploring both disciplines, students gain a broader foundation and an imaginative sense of play they won’t find anywhere else.
Designed for children ages 12 months through 9 years, we teach safe and fundamentally sound technique as developed by USA Gymnastics, with deliberate progressions and a clear path for growth. As children build physical skills, they also gain confidence, pride, and a strong sense of self that follows them far beyond the tent.
Whether your child loves to move, is dreaming of becoming an athlete, or just needs a place to get their wiggles out, we’re here for it. Come join us under the big top!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Officially called "Intro to Acrobatics" to capture the exploration of circus arts alongside gymnastics, our classes serve a range of ages and experience.
Gymnasts new to our program are placed in age-based classes to start. Once enrolled, we assess each child to group them by both age and skill level, ensuring they’re in the best class for their development.

Tiny Tots (12-18m)
30-minutes
This class teaches our youngest acrobats strength and coordination through safe sensory play on and off the equipment. Adult participation is required; caretakers learn basic spotting techniques.
Young Youth (4-6y) & Youth (7-9y)
45-minutes
This class introduces new students to the joy and technique of gymnastics. Students learn fundamental positions, develop aerial awareness, and prepare for more structured level classes. Sample skills practiced include handstands, pullovers, and cartwheels.
Tots (18m-3y)
45-minutes
This class offers a structured format to develop listening skills, social/emotional awareness, and basic gymnastics skills such as somersaults and cartwheels. Adult participation is required; caretakers learn basic spotting techniques.
Level 1 (4y+)
45-minutes
Pre-Approval Required
This class further develops fundamental skills while working on more advanced progressions. Sample skills practiced include bridges and handstands. More information found here.
Family (18m-5y)
45-minutes
Ideal for siblings or a mixed-age experience, this class develops listening skills, social/emotional awareness, and basic gymnastics skills such as somersaults and cartwheels. Adult participation is required for children 3 and under; caretakers learn basic spotting techniques.
Level 1 Advanced (4y+)
45-minutes
Pre-Approval Required
This class further refines fundamental skills while working on mastery of Level 1 skills. Sample skills practiced include circling skills on bars and bridge kickovers on floor. More information found here.

60-minutes
Pre-Approval Required
This class introduces more dynamic skills while maintaining mastery of fundamentals. Students increase strength, flexibility, and confidence as they take on new challenges such as walkovers and round-offs. More information found here.
Pre-Competitive Team
By Invitation
Our pre-competitive team is for gymnasts ready for a new kind of challenge. Form and execution take center stage in this program to build technically sound fundamentals. It continues to be playful and encouraging, with extra emphasis on details. More information found here.

Enrollment opens Saturday, August 1st at 8am. Our fall 2026 session meets for 10 classes, running from 9/9/26-11/22/26. The class times below are subject to change prior to registration.
